One of the best things about Amazon's Basics series is the lightweight nature of many of their products. Lightweight and portable are two words that are synonymous with this line of camera bags. I have had several Amazon Basics Camera Mounts and Tripod Stands through my time as a consumer, and here is what I have found them to be:
Easy to Use - The fact that the Amazon Basics Lightweight Camera Mount Tripod Stand with Bag is very easy to use, is a huge plus for me. I am a photographer, not a technician, and having the type of camera equipment I need to successfully make photos is critical to my business. I do not have to worry about using too much technical equipment to get the job done. I simply set up the camera, take the pictures, then check them in the photo viewer to see what I got. No need to focus or fuss with complicated controls.
Durability - I like a camera that will last through a lot of use. When it comes to cameras, these are not cheap toys. They need to stand up to being dropped and banged. Amazon does a great job making sure they are tough and built to last through use. They have definitely paid back for this feature in my mind.
Folds Up For Easy Storage - I love getting any type of camera bag that I can get that has a big pocket for storage. There are times when there is nothing else to put the camera away, and it just needs to fit in a smaller bag. When this happens, it is a pain to try to find somewhere to stow it when needed. The Amazon Basics has this ability when you fold it up, which makes it an easy find for storage during those times.
Easy Storing For Travel - Even though I rarely take pictures while on vacation, I still like to store it there. It is not easy carrying a large bulky digital camera with you all the time. Especially if you plan on doing a lot of traveling. That is why having a small easy to carry camera is so beneficial.
Good Looks - It is hard to go anywhere these days without seeing some tripod stands. They are everywhere, from airports and hotel lobbies. Most have at least one good looking model to choose from. The Amazon Basics lightweight tripod stand with bag is no exception.
The Good - Speed and Lightness. There is nothing more frustrating when taking a quick picture, trying to find a place to set it. Sometimes there is not enough room for the camera, but the Amazon Basics is very flexible in that regard. It can be folded and carried in your pocket easily. The weight is manageable for any size of hand, and it takes up much less space than a normal tripod. The tripod stand with the bag is just perfect for taking photos anywhere.
The Not So Good - Size and Sturdiness. At first I thought this tripod would fit snuggly in the case, but it seems to be too flimsy. Maybe a thicker case would have been better.
